Campus Mind is built for UK schools and designed to support GDPR-conscious deployment. Campus Mind can be configured with an EU-hosted TypingMind environment. Requests to an external AI model provider may be processed outside that region depending on the provider and school configuration. Providers use encryption in transit and at rest, though exact protocols and coverage depend on the services configured for your school.

Our principles

• Data minimisation — only what's necessary
• Encryption in transit and at rest, as provided by the configured services
• OpenAI API data is not used to train models by default unless a school opts in; retention is handled separately
• An EU data-centre option is available through TypingMind, though external model requests may leave that region
• Processing and configuration information provided for review, with visibility depending on roles and providers
• Deletion follows your school's instructions, the contract and DPA, applicable legal duties and provider backup cycles
